I received an email from a fellow Saab club member; he's moving and is lightening his fleet. He has:

1. 1972 Sonett III rolling chassis - rust free except the battery tray, great clean rockers and floor, ready to bolt on bits from a rusty SIII. First $500 takes it. This one WILL go to the scrap yard if someone doesn't buy it; and that would be an absolute bloody crying shame because it's super clean. 2. 1968 96 rolling shell - this one has floor rust but the doors, glass (all but windshield) and other panels are in good shape. Lots of usable bits for anyone with a 96. Free to a good home, or to the crusher it goes.

3. 1989 C900 convertible - this has been a daily driver for a year or so, and is your typical C900 - steering box leaks a bit, dry vacuum hoses are cracking, but you just KNOW it will start and run every time. NEW top a year or so ago, four brand-new (less than 500 miles) Michelins on each corner, shod with a set of 5-spoke Super CS alloys left over from some 9k of mine. Has a 9000 Aero driver's seat, passenger seat will come with the package but will not be installed. First $1500 takes it, just in time for summer. Pay for tire, wheels and a top, get a car for free!
